Plas Dolguog Wedding Photographers – Machynlleth – Dean & Angharad

After a ninety minute drive through the rolling Welsh countryside I arrived at the lovely little seaside town of Tywyn

I quickly persuaded Dean, Nigel the best man and the ushers to make their way down to the beach for a few informal shots of the guys larking around, as they do

It was soon time to meet with Angharad and her bridesmaids for some beautiful shots of the girls putting the finishing touches to their hair and make up

Before we knew it the Rolls Royce taking Angharad to the church had arrived. I made my way to the church which was only half a mile away, ready to receive the bridal party arriving at the church

The ceremony was beautiful in the quaint little church but after a few formal shots we took the thirty minute drive in the Rolls Royce along the coastline to the Plas Dolguog Hotel near Machynlleth

I took Dean and Angharad off into the stunning grounds of the hotel which featured a small river, bridges and a number of wooden walk ways for some informal shots

The speeches were hilarious with Nigel and Bryn battling for the honours

The laughter and enjoyment carried on into the first dance and I left them as they really started to party into the night.

Beaufort Park Hotel Wedding Photographers – Mold – Danny & Vicki

I arrived at St Matthews church in Buckley to a heavy rain shower. My mood was soon lifted when I saw Danny arriving in an Aston MArtin DB7 that his wife to be Vicki, had arranged for him. What a lovely surprise!

Luckily the rain shower moved on while Danny and his best man Anthony greeted the wedding guests and posed for a few informal photographs

Vicki soon arrived in an open top Beaufort wedding car with her pround father Ian.  I must say Vicki looked absolutely stunning

After a lovely ceremony we took the short drive to the Beaufort Park Hotel dodging the rain showers again

Danny & Vicki mingled with their guests before I took them away for half an hour for some informal shots. This involved me lying down in a field full of horses to achieve the shot I wanted. A look of panic washed across Vicki’s face when she noticed three horses galloping towards us. The horses eventually slowed and came over to greet us. Vicki & Danny quickly made friends with the horses before they galloped off into the sunset

The laughter and enjoyment carried on into the first dance and I left them as they really started to party into the night

Knowsley Hall Wedding Photographers – Liverpool – John & Laura

Off we went to one of my favourite wedding venues, Knowsley Hall, Stately Home.  Knowsley is unrivalled as the ultimate events venue for the North West. This 2,500 acre privately owned estate and historic Hall offer sprawling fields and manicured lawns. An array of awe-inspiring rooms make this the perfect wedding venue

For this wedding I asked  Marcos James to assist and be my second photographer. Marcos as always came away with some stunning shots

I spent the morning with Laura and her bridesmaids preparing for the wedding, whilst Marcos spent the morning with the boys with John showing off his new watch to add to his collection

After a beautiful ceremony we moved into the gardens for a few group shots before taking John & Laura off on their own for some relaxed and informal portraits

The evening reception soon came around. Laura had organised a photo booth and a Beatles tribute band for her guests to dress up in fancy dress and dance away the evening in style

Willington Hall Wedding Photographers – Chester – James & Kelly

Yesterday, I was at the stunning Willington Hall near Chester for the wedding of James & Kelly

The day started at Kelly’s parents house for some preperation shots of Kelly getting ready. Before I knew it Kelly’s father had me sat around the dining table eating a full English cooked breakfast with Kelly and her mother

I then moved on to Holy Ascension church in Upton, Chester to meet James & his best man. James seemed a little on edge but David his best man took charge of things whilst James greeted the arrival of  family and guests

Kelly arrived in a beautiful open top Beaufort wedding car and walked down the aisle looking stunning on the arm arm of her very proud father, Brian

After a beautiful ceremony and a few formal photographs at the church we took the 20 minute drive to Willington Hall just outside of Chester

On arrival, we did a quick dash into the gardens of Willington Hall for a few informal portraits and were soon back to the hotel so James & Kelly could enjoy their reception with their guests

The laughter and enjoyment carried on into the first dance and I left them as they really started to party into the night

Portmeirion Wedding Photographers – North Wales – Ed & Laura

Wow!  What an amazing venue for a wedding

Ed & Laura chose the romantic village of Portmeirion with it’s beautiful backdrop of Estuary and Mountains to provide an ideal setting for their wedding. The wedding ceremony took place in the fabulous Hercules Hall, a stunning building in it’s own right.  Our time schedule was tight with only  two hours to shoot the whole wedding and get Ed, Laura and guests back to Hotel Portmeirion for the wedding breakfast. It was a beautiful sunny day, if not a little windy, which kept the ladies on their toes keeping their hats on their heads

Ed & Laura had a wonderful day, it was full of laughter and enjoyment from the moment I arrived until the moment I left.

I must pass a big thanks on to all the staff at Hotel Portmeirion who couldn’t do enough for the bridal party and I

I hope you enjoyed the small selection of images above
