11 bridesmaids, 4 bestmen and 200 guests
For the occasion I asked Marcos James again for his assistance. Thank you once again Marcos for a fantastic job
It was an early start at 9 o’clock, I went to meet Kate and the girls whilst Marcos met Richard and the boys for breakfast to watch the rugby world cup
Kate had organised everything with military precision. It all ran like clock work with the cars leaving bang on time
Very kindly, Richards father Gary had donated his new Rolls Royce for the bride and groom to use for the day
We took the twenty minute drive to Hagley Hall where Richard was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his bride. Kate looked absolutely stunning
Kate’s father, Rod had come over from Holland to walk his daughter down the aisle. His face was a picture walking arm and arm down the ailse with her
Then something happened that I’d never ever seen before …. Kate went to take her seat, her father thinking he was helping moved her chair to allow for Kates dress to fall into place
You’ve guessed it, Kate went straight on the floor. For what seemed like a minute but really was only a few seconds there was a deathly silence. Then Kate burst into laughter closely followed by all of the guests
Everything else ran very smoothly during the service and we moved into the Main Hall for some champagne tatsing whilst Richard & Kate chatted with their guests
After some informal portraits and group shots we then drove to Kateshill House for the wedding breakfast
The evening flew by with everybody having a really good time
Richard and Kates first dance was something else, ‘the time of my life’ from Dirty Dancing. Every move was perfect, even the lift. I’m sure there was some dance lessons involved, even the bridemaids were involved
Marcos & I had an amazing day and would like to thank Richard & Kate for asking us to be part of it
